Wednesday, President Trump rolled back protections for transgender students. Regardless of the political and legal ramifications of Trump’s order, this could be a confusing and troubling time for LGBTQ+ young people. We can make an immediate difference in their lives by donating to The Trevor Project, the nation’s number one helpline and advocacy group for LGBTQIAP+ youth. 

From now until the end of March, if you donate $50 to The Trevor Project, I will do a Skype visit with your school, library, GSA, book club, reading group, knitting circle, Dungeons & Dragons crew, Magic the Gathering gang, girl scout troop, etc., etc. and waive my appearance fee. Let’s make a difference in the lives of these students today.
